2019 IMMAF-WMMAA World Championships

Jamaica will have one representative at the 2019 International Mixed Martial Arts Federation-World Mixed Martial Arts Association Senior World Championships of Amateur MMA. He is Imran “Fyah” Hall.

As an amateur MMA fighter, Hall 1 win and 1 loss. On May 16, 2019, he competed in the IMMAF Pan American Championships in Nassau, Bahamas where he lost to Kyle “Snow Monkey” Cason of the United States.

Including Jamaica, 49 countries will be represented at the 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Senior World Championships. Taking placing at the Khalifa Sports City from November 10-16, 2019, it will be held in parallel with the 2019 Junior World Championships.

Hall will compete in the men’s lightweight division, which is a t 70.3 kg (155 lbs). Including him, there are 32 fighters competing in the division.

Under the auspices of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the 2019 IMMAF-WMMAA Senior World Championships is hosted by the Bahrain MMA Federation (BMMAF). Audience entry to the arena is free and the action will be streamed live internationally at IMMAF TV.

On November 10, 2019, there will be a tournament draw and the competition will run from November 11-14, 2019 and on November 16, 2019 starting at 11 a.m. (UTC +3) each day. All matches will take place under Unified Amateur MMA Rules.
